in 1982 by a
small group of law enforcement officers, the Iowa Crime Prevention
Association is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit organization whose
mission is to enable people to prevent crime, the fear of crime, and
criminal opportunity in the State of Iowa through the advancement and
promotion of crime prevention practices to build safer, more caring
communities.
From the time of its organization, the
ICPA's
president, vice president, and directors have served without no
compensation other than knowing that their efforts reduce
the likelihood of our becoming victims of crime.
Please join us in appreciating and
thanking not just
the officers and directors, but their families as well, for the time
they spend outside their jobs, their time away from families, and their
above-and-beyond dedication and commitments to crime prevention in Iowa.
